“How much does a shed cost?”
Our basic sheds start under $3,000. Size and style cause pricing to vary, but the median sale price is near $4,500
“How does Rent-To-Own work?”
Rent-To-Own is a flexible payment option that allows you to finance your shed over 24, 36, 48, or 60 months. No credit check required. You need a valid ID and one month’s payment to get your shed delivered.
“Do you offer 90 Days Same As Cash?”
Yes, we do. After setting up a rent-to-own plan you have 90 days to pay the cash price of the shed. No Fees, No Rental Charges, you just pay the cash price. Missing a monthly payment invalidates this offer.
“How much does setup and delivery cost?”
Setup and delivery is free within 50 miles for off-lot purchases and 150 miles from the shop for new-build orders.
“What if I’m outside the normal delivery range?”
In many cases, we can still deliver beyond the normal 50 or 150 mile range for a small “per-mile” fee.
“How long does delivery take?”
Our lead time is 5-10 business days for off-lot orders and 20-25 days for new builds. Weather, holidays, and busy times of the year cans extend lead times.
“What type of foundation do I need?”
Concrete, gravel, or blocks are required to maintain eligibility for our Craftsmanship Warranty.
“Do you level the building on delivery?
Yes, we do. You provide the blocks based on our Block Guide, the driver will take it from there.
“What size shed do I need?”
Underestimating the amount of space you need is the most common buyer’s regret.
Here’s a quick guide based on what you’re storing:
8×10 or 8×12 — Lawn mower, basic garden tools, seasonal items. Good starter size for a small yard.
10×12 or 10×16 — Riding mower, bicycles, patio furniture storage, modest tool collection. The most popular range for average homeowners.
12×20 or 12×24 — Modest workshop space, multiple large equipment pieces. You’ll want this size or bigger if you plan to spend time working inside the building.
“What’s the difference between Signature and Tru-Value?”
Wall height, wall construction, trim, roof overhang, size range, ventilation, color and customization options. All Warranties and Floors are the same!
“What’s the difference between a wood and metal shed?”
Metal vs Wood is largely personal preference. Warranties on both are great. Metal comes with less maintenance, wood seals a bit tighter and blocks radiant heat from the sun a little better.
“Are your buildings HOA approved?”
You’ll have to check with your HOA for their regulations. We are happy to customize our buildings to match their requirements (lap siding, roof, wall, and trim color matching etc.). If you don’t see the option on our website or 3D builder just ask, we can do custom work in most cases.
“Can I customize my shed before ordering?”
Existing displays are sold can’t be customized, but new builds are fully customizable. We recommend using the 3D Builder to help visualize your project before ordering.
“How do I use the 3D builder?”
Just click the link and start selecting your preferred options from the dropdown menu. Start with building type and work your way down from there.
“What upgrades are most popular?”
Outside of paint color selection; windows, ramps, and electrical packages are the most popular add-ons. natural light, easy access, and a place to charge batteries, run power tools, and the ability to flip on a light in the dark are gamechangers.
“What warranty do Stor-Mor buildings come with?”
